AIM Student (Adventures in Missions), Quite, Ecuador, 1992-1994. Melanie Satcher went into the AIM program after graduating from high school in 1992. AIM students attend classes at Sunset School of Preaching for 8 months before entering the mission field. Melanie's team consisting of Melanie, Kevin Snyder, Jason Thornton, Heather Pitney, and Shane McLoud, committed to go to Quito, Ecuador for 21 months. Melanie returned home in December, 1994.

Melanie married Stewart McGuiggan, also an AIM student who served in Mexico City. Stewart came to the US from Ireland to attend AIM. Stewart and Melanie went on to graduate from Sunset International Bible Institute. They currently live in Plano, Texas and have three children. Melanie is the daughter of James and Barbara Satcher.
